Post-War Army National Match built on a Colt frame. Proper inspection marks for Drewery and rebuild stamp for Springfield Arsenal. Proper Colt National Match barrel with matching serial number. Proper barrel bushing with last four of serial number electropencilled on side. Proper slide slide with US marked Elliason adjustable rear sight and blacked out serrated front sight, and "8806" under firing pin stop plate. Accompanied by a shipping box with label reading "1005-994-9512-B001 // PISTOL AUTO C/45 M1911A1 NM W/E // 1 EAA A 3/66 // SPRINGFIELD ARMORY". Box has a canvas bag inside stamped same. CONDITION: Very good as arsenal reconditioned. Some minor scattered marks from handling and operation, retaining the vast majority of parkerized refinish. Some of the original legends are obscured by the refinish. Operates correctly with a very good bore. Box is very good with some loosening of the tape and roughness to corners. Canvas bag is ripped where opened. This gun came out of the Charles W. Clawson collection. It comes with a letter from him stating that. EW
