1816 Pattern flintlock musket made at Harper's Ferry and dated on rear of lock 1836. Original flintlock with date of 1836 and eagle over "US" stamp with brass pan. Three band stock hardware with original type ramrod. Full musket style stock with "JM" proof on left side of stock. Tang marked 1825. Musket barrel with illegible marks at breech. CONDITION: Gun looks to have been cleaned at one time. Lock possible later replacement. Stock has no visible restoration with usage and wear marks. Good mechanics. DLM
