This is believed to be a "spurious" example of a rare Model 1867 Remington Rolling Block Carbine built for the US Navy. The gun has been built around a correct US Navy "anchor" marked barrel and correct forearm with a US Navy cartouche. The balance of the gun is a basic Remington No. 1 black powder action. CONDITION: Fine overall with sound wood and metal. Bore is bright. -MKS-
