Case hardened Model 1893 with takedown half-round half-octagon barrel, two-thirds length magazine, chambered in .32-40 caliber. Crescent rifle style buttplate. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm. Marbles rear sight. Barrel marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL". CONDITION: Complete professional restoration. Barrel has a blue/brown finish. Receiver, lever, hammer, take-down lug, butt-plate, and forearm cap have 95+% of the reapplied color casehardening remaining. Bore is dark with good rifling. Replaced stock and forearm retains 95% reapplied finish with sharp checkering. Mechanically sound and tight. Overall a very attractive restored rifle. -MKS-
