This is the 4th variation of the early WWII Zero series P.38. Eagle 359 inspected. Banner Walther on the left side of the slide. All numbers are matching. Black checkered plastic grips as it should have. These were made from approximately April until July of 1940. Accompanied by a non-matching, but Zero series magazine which is Eagle/ 359 inspected. No import marks. CONDITION: Retains approximately 70% of the original high luster commercial style blued finish. All markings are clear. Grips are good, with a piece missing from the rear top of the right grip. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. GR
