Both pistols have two turned barrels with double boxlock actions. Bottoms of actions tangs inscribed "26" on both pistols. Both French-style iron trigger guards are inscribed with floral motifs. Right sides of breeches "H. PETITIEAN". Both sides of actions are engraved with arrows in a quiver with a bow and florals. Both pistols have attractive walnut grips. CONDITION: Both pistols have been cleaned and retain a light grey patina with some minor pitting scattered on barrels. Action on one pistol does not hold on cock. One tang screw replaced on one pistol. Grips show some scattered marks from use. An attractive pair on continental double barrel pistols in a nice, large size. DMG
