A good example of what Flayderman refers to as the "exceptionally deep fluted variation, rated 'rare'", Flayderman 7b-003.5. CONDITION: Barrels are very good, retaining considerable original blue finish. Engraved frame with smooth age patina and some old scratches on front strap. Bag grips with steel escutcheons retain what appears to be some original varnish. Bores are filled with grease. Action excellent, barrels index properly. A rare gun for the advanced collector of pepperboxes. MZ
