Both with smoothbore octagon barrels with silver beads on top of muzzles. Both are inscribed in silver inlay on the barrels "ESTEBAN ARANA IN EIBAR" and dated 1850. They are also inlaid with other scroll decorations. Case hardened, back action locks with scroll engraving. Steel furniture engraved en suite. Steel pommel caps with lanyard rings mounted on walnut stocks with checkered panels on each side of grips. CONDITION: Barrels retain a brown patina. Silver is unpolished. Actions function well. Locks show generous traces of case colors. Other steel components retain a grey patina with traces of case colors. Stocks are good showing minor staining and marks from use. One ramrod tip is absent. An attractive pair of pistols with extremely decorative barrels. DMG
