Serial number 299630, manufactured in 1904. 26" full octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Standard barrel sights. Barrel stamped "NICKEL STEEL BARREL / ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER" with two-line Winchester address and .30 W.C.F. at the breech. Plain walnut stocks and forearm with rifle crescent style butt-plate. Blue with case hardened lever, hammer and butt-plate. Winchester proof mark on receiver and barrel breech. CONDITION: Excellent overall with approximately 95+% bright blue on receiver, barrel, and magazine tube. Most all bright "peacock" blue on loading gate. Strong case color on hammer, lever, and butt-plate. Wood is excellent showing little wear. Bore is excellent, bright and clean. Overall a most attractive rifle in a desirable configuration. -MKS-
