Serial number 256262, manufactured in 1902. Tapered 26" octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Chambered in 25-35 caliber. Blue with case hardened lever, hammer and buttplate. Plain walnut stock and forearm with rifle style crescent butt. Blade front sight with three-leaf fold down rear barrel sight, and Lyman mid-range tang sight. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 97-98% bright original blue on receiver with light scratches. Bright "peacock" blue on loading gate. 98% bright original blue on barrel and magazine, one area of over cleaning on right front of magazine tube. Strong case color on lever. Buttplate has been over cleaned with a dove grey patina. bore is excellent. Overall a high condition model 1894 in a desirable configuration and caliber. -MKS-
