Standard configuration. Completely matching throughout, including the magazine. Made in June of 1944 (19.6 date code). Frame, slide and barrel feature a late war plum style finish. Accompanied by a rubberized canvas holster with cleaning rod and spare non-matching magazine. The holster has "MACVANE" written on the inside of the flap. This gun also has the original capture paper with it from the 108th Medical Battalion. The Captain's name on the paper matches the name in the holster. There is no serial number listed on the paper which simply states "1 Japanese Pistol". CONDITION: Gun is very fine with almost all of the original finish. All markings are sharp and clear. Wood grips are very fine with light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Good mechanical function, this gun is packed with grease making the action sluggish. Holster is fine with some light staining and strong stitching. Spare magazine is in matching condition to the gun. Paper is solid with clear writing and some slight yellowing from age. GR
