Standard model with plain 28" barrel and full choke. Restocked with highly figured English walnut, English style straight grip featuring finely cut "H" style checkering. Partially restored with refinished receiver. Winchester hard rubber butt-plate. CONDITION: Excellent overall with most all reapplied blue finish remaining on receiver and 95 - 98% bright original blue on barrel and magazine tube. Bore is excellent, bright and clean. Replaced wood is excellent plus showing minimum wear. Overall a very attractive partially restored Model 42 that would make a great hunting gun. -MKS-
