Lot contains: (A) Polizei double decal M34, (B) Heer single decal M24 medic, (C) Heer single decal M35, (D) Heer single decal M40, and (E) Heer single decal M40. (A) Polizei double decal M34 helmet marked "Q". Shell exterior retains 85-90% of its original black paint with freckling in the scattered marks. The interior retains approximately 95% of its black paint, with freckling, dust, and dirt. Police and national colors decal rates 90-95% remaining, with lacquer. Original dark brown liner size marked "58", and black head pad are present, with light to moderate wear, age and staining. All five neck protector retention tabs and pebbled chinstrap are present. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) Heer single decal M42 medic's shell with illegible markings to freckled interior. Battled damaged cracked shell with the crack 60% from the left forward edge across the top. Approximately 60% of a olive tan paint remain with heavy freckling. The damage occurred after the shell was painted, with the paint removed on the left side up to the cross. The red cross retains 70-75% of its red paint, again with the damage occurring after it was painted. A Heer decal is present under the paint on the left side. Interior is heavily freckled, dirty, and with a few spots of an odd green paint. CONDITION: Fair. (C) Heer single decal M35 helmet with the maker/ size of "NS62", and the lot number of "D219". Shell retains 70-75% of its smooth apple green paint, with scratches and freckling in the remaining areas. Interior retains approximately 95% of its smooth apple green finish, with dust and dirt. The Heer decal has been removed at some point. The national colors rate 85-90%, with a coat of lacquer applied. Early aluminum liner, and light brown leather liner with moderate age and staining are present. Entire liner assembly has been replaced at some point. The three retention rivets are not original to the helmet and are painted differently. Drawstring is not the correct type. Chinstrap with aluminum fittings is present with moderate age, and the tip is missing (perhaps one to two inches) CONDITION: Overall very good. (D) Heer single decal M40 helmet with the maker/ size of "EF66", and the lot number of "509". Shell retains 60-65% of its rough Feldgrau paint, with scratches and freckling in the remaining areas. Interior retains approximately 75% of its Feldgrau finish, with freckling, dust, and dirt. The Heer decal rates 35-40%, with some lacquer remaining. Later zinc band, and light brown leather liner with heavy damage, wear, and cracking are present. Liner assembly appears to be original to the helmet. Drawstring is present with the matching wear and aging. Chinstrap is partially present with heavy wear and damage. CONDITION: Overall good. (E) Heer single decal M40 helmet with the maker/ size of "SE64", and the lot number of "147". Shell retains 70-75% of its rough Feldgrau paint, with scratches and freckling in the remaining areas. Interior retains approximately 80% of its Feldgrau finish, with freckling, dust, and dirt. The Heer decal rates 60-65%, with some lacquer remaining. Entire liner/chinstrap/retention rivets assembly has been replaced at some point with one which is not German World War II issue. CONDITION: Overall good. WZ
