Lot contains: (A) Heer infantry enlisted visor cap, (B) Luftwaffe signal enlisted visor cap, and (C) Third Reich fire police enlisted visor cap. (A) Infantry visor cap made in a high quality Feldgrau tricot wool with seven tiny moth holes on the top. The dark green wool center band appears to be undamaged. The white piping is intact with light staining. A Heer aluminum eagle, wreath, and cockade are attached, and the eagle appears to have been reapplied. The black vulkanfibre visor presents some very light wear with no crazing, with the underside in a medium brown crosshatch pattern. The black leather chin cord has moderate heat damage, with black painted steel fittings. The interior is fully lined in a light golden-rayon with very light staining. The celluloid sweat shield is present with one inch being separated and the size stamp of "56 - 1/2" visible on the lining. The light brown leather sweatband has several areas of cracking about the forehead, with moderate wear on the edge. CONDITION: Excellent overall. (B) Luftwaffe signal visor cap made in a blue gray tricot wool with three tiny moth holes on the top, one is near the eagle, and a quarter inch hole to the right of the eagle. The black ribbed cotton center band appears to be undamaged. The light brown piping is intact with light staining. A Luftwaffe aluminum eagle, and wreath/cockade are attached and are near mint. The black vulkanfibre visor presents some very light wear with no crazing, with the underside in a green crosshatch pattern. The black leather chin cord has moderate heat damage, with black painted steel fittings. The interior is fully lined in a light golden-rayon with several tiny holes on the rear up near the sweat band. The sweat shield is present with approximately three inches of cracks in the center, with the very nice maker ink stamps of "Ostland, Mutzen - u. Bekleidungs - Industrie, Freiburg, Schlesien" and the size stamp of "55" visible on the lining. The light tan leather sweatband has very light damage from being handled. No unit markings are present. CONDITION: Excellent to near mint overall. (C) Fire police visor cap made in a high quality dark blue wool with no visible damage. The black velvet center band, and dark pink piping appear to be undamaged as well. A Polizei aluminum eagle, and cockade are attached and are excellent. The black vulkanfibre visor presents some very light wear with moderate crazing, with the underside in a light brown crosshatch pattern. The black leather chin cord has light wear, with black painted steel fittings. The interior is fully lined in a light golden-rayon and the celluloid sweat shield are undamaged. Silver embossed maker stamps of "Pekuro Mutzen, Stirndruckerei", etc, is visible on the lining. A size tag of "58" is present on the rear sweat band rivet. The light brown leather sweatband is near mint with light wear on the edge. CONDITION: Near mint overall. WZ
