Lot consists of: (A) Japanese officer visor cap, identified as having belonged to LTC Misusawa in olive wool with a red wool center band and a gold star affixed to the front. There are a number of light moth tracks throughout, with a dozen plus tiny moth nips. Leather chin cord is attached, lining is a light gray rayon with light damage with small holes, and a dry leather sweatband with light to moderate wear. Comes in a Japanese box with old Japanese newspapers, and a ID card. CONDITION: Very good overall. (B) Japanese Navy pith helmet with a large maker's tag inside marked "Chop Sin Yin Leong, Singapore", with a tan canvas body presenting moderate staining. Light brown leather edge trim, with a gold naval emblem affixed to the front. Green interior is stained with light damage. Sweatband is undamaged and does not appear to have been worn. CONDITION: Overall excellent, as helmet was not worn, but has storage wear. (C) Japanese combat helmet with tan paint in approximately 95% condition, with star affixed on front. Three leather filled liner pads, and liner band appear to be undamaged and never worn. Rayon strap is attached. CONDITION: Near mint. (D) Japanese naval officer sword with no visible markings, with a nickel plated blade exhibiting freckling to 35% of its unsharpened blade. Brass fittings, with a brown grip with several strands of wire being loose. Nickel plated scabbard retains 60-65% of its finish with patina and freckling. CONDITION: Very good overall. (E) Japanese NCO Katana with a blade that has 65-75% freckling, patina, and stains. Fittings are intact but none of the original finish remains. CONDITION: Good overall. (F) Old Japanese Katana with a light freckling and patina to the blade, with a cloth wrapped wooden grip. Grip is detached. Leather covered wooden scabbard with a gilt linked chain hanger.
