Gun is a standard 1942 production (dated 42 above the chamber), "Black Widow" Luger. Original black Bakelite grips. Proper "fxo" "37" black bottom magazine. All matching numbers. Blued trigger and safety lever. All matching numbers. Accompanying this gun is an unmarked brown leather holster with a flap over the tool pouch intended for a cleaning rod (this type of holster is noted on page 124 of "Third Reich Lugers And Their Accessories" by Jan C. Still). This additional strap is typically found on 1932-1934 dated military holsters. CONDITION: Gun retains 85% original finish overall. Some wear on the high points and light handling marks. All markings are clear. Grips show some wear with light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster is very good with light handling marks. Stitching is solid.
