(A) Winchester Model 70 Featherweight bolt action rifle. Serial number dates this gun to 1963. Rifle is drilled for both a scope mount and rear sight. Rifle retains a notch rear sight and a standard front post. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains 80% of its original finish with light wear in areas. The receiver has some light freckling and the trigger-guard has a few areas of surface rust. Stock is very good with light handling marks. Bore is dirty with fair rifling left. (B) Alamo Gun Co Mauser style bolt action rifle. Built on a 98 Mauser action, this rifle retains its military serial number. Rifle has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount, in addition to a rear peep sight. Rifle is missing the front blade sight. Military bolt was sporterized as well. CONDITION: Overall very good condition. This rifle was professionally sporterized by Alamo Gun Co. Metal retains 90% of its blued finish with light wear in areas. Stock is very good with light handling marks. Bore is dirty with crisp rifling left. A nice pair of rifles for deer camp. JA
