Lot consists of: (A) Colt Single Action Army revolver. Manufactured in 1874. Frame is marked "U.S." next to the patent dates. Factory blued finish. Grip is faux antler. Serial numbers on the frame and barrel do not match. Cylinder and frame do match. Hammer has been replaced at some point. CONDITION: Overall fair. Metal retains little to none of its original finish with wear and handling marks in areas. Grip is very good with light wear. Bore is dirty with fair rifling. Hammer and cylinder are tight. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Model 1877 Lightning double action revolver. Manufactured in 1902. Factory blued finish with the correct "birds head" grip. Serial numbers on the frame, trigger guard and butt all match. CONDITION: Overall very good. Metal retains 90% or more of its original blue finish. Grips are good with light wear to the checkering. Bore is dirty, but has good rifling left. Mechanically excellent. Hammer and cylinder show a small amount of wobble. JA CORRECTION: After further review, the revolvers were found to be refinished.
