Contemporary Colt Walker style percussion revolver with box. This example was most likely made in the 1960's to defraud collectors. Great detail was put into this fake, even stamping the inside of the front strap 91 to match the serial number of the gun. The wear on the gun is clearly artificial. Straight rifling is not correct for a real Colt Walker. Latch and catch are also present, which are not found on a real Walker. Case is custom made, and is serialized to the gun. CONDITION: Overall fair. Metal retains little of its original finish with artificial wear and handling marks. Grips are very good with mild wear. Bore is dirty with little rifling left. Mechanically fine. Nipples show signs of use. Case is very good with light wear. JA
