Case hardened frame and lever with blue 26" round barrel barrel with full length magazine tube. Plain walnut stock and forearm. Crescent buttplate. Large German silver front sight, standard Marlin rear barrel sight. Barrel marked "-SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL-". Plain walnut stock and forearm with varnish finish. Tang stamped "MODEL -1893-" Number "8" stamped on right side of stock at wrist. CONDITION: Fine overall with 85-90% bright original case color on frame and lever, mainly on left side. Approximately 97% original bright blue on barrel and magazine tube. Bore is a little dark with fine rifling. Stock and forearm refinished. Overall a nice clean Model 1893 with a shootable bore, chambered in a popular caliber. -MKS-
