Serial number 5106, manufactured in 1873. 3-inch barrel barrel marked 2-line "COLT'S HOUSE PISTOL/HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." Frame topstrap marked "PAT. SEPT.19.1871" Trademark 4-shot cloverleaf style cylinder. Nickel with blue cylinder. Two piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine overall with most original nickel starting to frost showing moderate wear with scattered dents and scratches. Most all original blue on barrel turning a brown patina. Grips are very good with a medallion inlaid in left grip. Overall a respectable fairly scarce little Colt -MKS-
