Lot consists of: (A) "Ernst Pack" Polizei Degen, and (B) "Eickhorn" Polizei Degen. (A) "Ernst Pack & Sohne, Solingen" marked 35" blade with runner and scattered marks. Freckling to approximately 5% of the blade, mainly near the cross guard. Steel fittings are nickel plated with patina with 35-40% of their nickel finish with heavy freckling and patina. Wire-wrapped grip is lightly damaged. Lower grip fitting and police eagle retain less than 20% of their finish. Steel scabbard retains approximately 75% of its original black painted finish, with freckling and scattered marks. Nickel plated steel fittings have a nice patina with approximately 50% of their original finish present. CONDITION: Overall good to very good. (B) "Original Eickhorn, Solingen" 34-5/8" marked blade with light runner scattered marks. Blade has several noticeable nicks to its edge. Steel fittings are nickel plated with patina and freckling, and retain 60-65% of their finish, and the finish on the grip is worn off on the raised ribs. Lower grip fitting retains 60-65% of its finish, with an aluminum police eagle. Steel scabbard retains approximately 75% of its original black painted finish with freckling and scattered marks. Nickel-plated throat fitting retains 70-80% of its finish. Scabbard has a noticeable dent four inches from its tip. CONDITION: Overall very good. WZ
