The Whirlwind was first introduced in 1933 by Pierce Tool & Mfg. Co. with three concentric discs but too many problems arose. Thus came this corrected version with three reel strips replacing the discs. The Art Deco style cast-aluminum cabinet is nicely detailed in red and blue with minor wear throughout. 25¢ operation is unusual. Has key.
