This S series Model 27 features the scarce 5" barrel with blued finish, case colored target hammer, adjustable sights, diamond checkered silver medallion magna grips. Manufactured from 1957 to 1959. Comes in the original two-piece gold box with 1955 dated warranty card and wax paper. The gun has seen little to no use. Retains 99% of the original high polished factory blue finish with only the lightest of drag lines, a couple of wear marks at crane and end of cylinder, and a hint of muzzle wear. Mint bore, mint action, mint grips, mint color. In an original near mint box with no end label and not numbered to gun. The right grip has the stamped serial number matching gun. The Model 27 without the additional change designations are extremely scarce and were only manufactured in the late 50's, and the 5" barrel is considered the scarcest in this model.
