Manufactured in Switzerland, this Wild Heerbrugg rangefinder was then sold to Sweden, as indicated by the Swedish text found around the optic. Many of these rangefinders were sold to various countries throughout Europe including Germany, who acquired them for use during World War II. The data plate is marked "80cm a- instr/ m/41 / Nr 621/ Wild Heerbrugg F=12x". Rangefinder is finished in a drab green paint. Complete with Swedish tripod with its canvas and leather carrying case. CONDITION: Rangefinder components retain vast majority of applied green paint with minor areas of scattered wear. Leather canvas carrying case is good, showing wear all around. MW
