Handel desk lamp has metal overlay shade with six panels, decorated with overlay palm trees, each against a bent panel of sunset glass. The bell-shaped shade is completed with a skirt decorated with swirls of metal overlay against striated green glass panels. Signed at the top edge "HANDEL". The shade is housed in an adjustable desk lamp base with round vertically ribbed platform and double adjustments: one at the bottom of the arm and one at the socket. The base is finished in reddish brown and is signed on the underside with applied cloth tag "HANDEL LAMPS". Shade has a small 1/4" long split to the metal just below the fitter, most likely from the making; otherwise very good to excellent. Base has some minor blistering and discoloration to finish. Rewired with contemporary plastic cord. Size: 16" tall at tallest.
