Manufactured 1875. Winchester Model 1873 rifle with 24 - 1/4" round barrel, full magazine, and crescent butt. Traditional two line barrel address with 1/2 nickel sporting blade front sight and proper First Model elevator adjustable sporting rear sight with checkered sides, thumb print dust cover, blue finish with case colored hammer, lever, and buttplate. Two piece American walnut stocks. CONDITION: Fine overall with over 70% blue finish on barrel and receiver. Magazine tube has turned a chocolate patina. Walnut stocks are lightly period worn, full sized, and have no indication of having ever been disassembled. Bore has strong rifling with darkness and pitting in grooves. Screws are very good. Buttplate has silvered out as has lever. Traces of case colors remain on hammer. Rifle operates properly and is far superior in condition to most all First Model 1873 rifles and is an honest untouched example. TDW
