Royal Lancastrian vase is decorated with a medieval knight on horseback with his sword drawn and shield in hand, all done in shades of red and brown with all-over gilt detailing. The back side of the vase is decorated with a shield and gilt lions, all surrounded by stylized leaves against a dark blue-green background. Signed on the underside "ROYAL LANCASTRIAN ENGLAND". Condition: There is a flake to the inside edge of the foot that appears to be from the making; otherwise, very good to excellent.
