Limoges vase is decorated with a white pate-sur-pate angel with wings spread, holding a torch in one hand and a spray of flowers in the other. She is resting atop a billowy cloud with flowers sprinkled around. Artist signed beneath the cloud "A. RIFFATERRE". All set against a blue background with gilt stars above the angel. Signed on the underside "LIMOGES FRANCE" along with another signature of the artist. Condition: there is a small hairline in the glaze that does not go through to the porcelain. It is about three inches long and almost undetectable. Otherwise, very good to excellent.
