1892 vintage Model 1873 saddle ring carbine chambered in .44-40. Plain, straight grain walnut stock. Saddle ring in place. Steel carbine style buttplate. CONDITION: Very good overall with a pleasing dark brown patina overall. Bore has strong rifling with scattered pitting. Action is tight and crisp. Stock has a 1859 Indian Head penny inlaid on the left side heel. Wood has finish added, showing moderate wear. -MKS-
