Late 19th to early 20th century. The blue, black and indigo central medallion within a burgundy red field of dense polychrome sazleaf and floral decoration, within ivory spandrels, similarly decorated, all within a midnight blue main border of sazleaf and lotus blossom decoration with polychrome floral trelliswork, flanked by floral guard borders with taupe ground. Size: 5' 6" x 7' 7". Condition: With full pile, strong palette, and stabilized inactive insect damage to section of main border in lower quarter; otherwise, very good.
