Early 20th century. The Heriz with overall polychrome floral design in a midnight blue field, all within a madder red main border of polychrome palmettes and floral trellis work. Size: 7' 9" x 8' 8". Condition: The rug with extensive wear to pile, loss of fringes and wear to selvage; fair overall. The second, a Bidjar rug of dense polychrome floral design on a midnight blue field, within a rose-red main border decorated with rose blossoms. Size: 6' 2" x 6' 6". Condition: The rug with even wear throughout and replaced fringe at the ends, possibly reduced in size; fair to good overall.
