Mid 19th century. American School. Depicting a girl with blonde hair, seated on a red chair in blue dress with white lace collar and short sleeves. Housed in a lemon-gold deep frame. Painting is unsigned. Size of work: 22" x 18". Size overall: 28" x 24". Condition: Good to very good, with mild crazing and light surface scratches. Scratches are faint and insignificant.
