Meiji Period. Japan. The first carving, depicting a woman with bandanna, potted plant in her hand and a bonsai tree in container at her feet. The second depicts a man with a large backpack, water gourd and walking stick. The third depicting a man standing on rockwork playing a stringed instrument, a young child at his feet holding a fan. Each figure accompanied by a hardwood stand. Size: 8" T., 7 - 1/2" T., and 9" T., respectively. Condition: All three carvings with mellow patina and very good condition.
