Matched pair of epaulettes to a Prussian Lieutenant General or an adjutant to Kaiser Wilhem II in its original storage box. These epaulettes have the Kaiser's gilt, crowned cypher mounted on the checkerboard silver bullion base, with a single gilt Lt. General rank pip. The silver crescent is likely to be made from German silver, and general officer's conjoined ringlets hang down from each epaulette. Each ringlet is lined in black leather. The epaulettes come in a large storage case which is lined in white and pink silk. The case is constructed of a high-quality heavy cardboard with a leatherette exterior. The case is likely from the 1900-1910 period. CONDITION: Overall excellent plus. WZ
