Made under early German occupation of Belgium. Fabrique Nationale High Power pistol with tangent rear sight graduated to 500 meters and slotted butt for shoulder stock. Factory commercial blue finish with German Waffenamt and inspected Eagle WaA613. Matching numbers observed on slide, barrel, and frame. Grips are of checkered walnut with appropriate waterproofing paint on interior. Magazine is correct Belgium production with matching WaA 613 at rear bottom with alloy follower. The High Power pistols made under German occupation went from the excellent commercial finish such as this to a very crude rudimentary product produced later in the war. CONDITION: Very fine with over 95% blue finish remaining with minor edge wear and two small area of finish loss on right of slide. Bore is excellent with sharp rifling. Action operates properly. Grips are excellent with no issues or distress. An exceptional example of an early wartime production Nazi High Power. TDW
