Round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, V notch rear sight on rear link, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADEN", front toggle link marked "CROWN ERFURT". 1918 stamped over the chamber. This gun is a Simpson rework. It has a crown N marked barrel and an Eagle 6 Simpson proof mark on the right side of the receiver. CONDITION: Mostly matching numbers but the magazine and grips. Magazine bottom has a crack. Wood checkered grips that show some wear, but have no chips or cracks. Gun retains approximately 50% of the arsenal reapplied blue finish. 30% straw color on small parts. Finish has turned into a even brown patina. Barrel has some frosting with fair lands and grooves. RW
