Made in 1970, this dainty little boxlock was made for Abercrombie and Fitch and so marked on top of left tube made with matted top rib with brass front bead. There are small scallops of engraving on breech ends of barrels. Splinter forend with blued push button release is checkered in point pattern. Diminutive case hardened and scalloped boxlock action is lightly engraved in border pattern and around screws. The top lever is blued and lightly engraved. Made with double triggers, extractor, and automatic safety. The trigger guard is blued and a blued finger rest has been attached behind bow. The round knob pistol grip buttstock is checkered in point pattern and terminates with an Olde English brand red pad. There is a nickel oval near the toe which is beautifully engraved "World's Greatest Dove Shooter JBA". CONDITION: Excellent as field used. Barrels retain nearly all of an older restored reblack. Stocks are sound and retain most of an older restored finish with scattered light bumps. Action retains about 75% original case color. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanics are crisp. JSL
