Lot consists of: (A) Small Confederate tin drum style canteen. Canteen retains all it's original sling keepers and shows classic Confederate soldering overall. Original cotton web strap is present and period painted letters to one side read "REBEL". Most likely a wartime battlefield pickup brought home as a souvenir. Measures 1-3/4" wide x 6-3/4" across. (B) Large Confederate tin canteen that had been painted flat black. Original sling keepers are present and solid soldered in place. Remnants of cork still stuck in the pewter spout. No large dents. CONDITION: Very good overall. BM
