Very limited production and fitted with 10 inch part octagon barrel with blade front sight and barrel mounted rear sight. Smooth walnut forearm and pistol grip. Serial number on upper and lower tang (238). Remington address and patent dates on left side of frame. Barrel marked with Remington address. Chambered for .22 rimfire. A brass identification tag is attached to trigger guard identifying this as item Number 1496 of the famed J. M. Davis gun collection of Claremore, OK. CONDITION. Good as totally refinished. Bore is very good with sharp rifling. Wood stocks are lightly worn but fully intact. Action operates properly. TDW
