Made in 1933 by Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Connecticut, this Model 97 features a blued barrel and pump action with tube fed magazine. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Winchester buttplate. Walnut corrugated slide handle. Gun is equipped with takedown feature. Gun has engraved receiver with four gold inlaid flying ducks on left side and gold inlaid grouse and two pointing dogs on the right. Superior work on finish and engraving by an unknown master. CONDITION: 90% of total refinish with sharp engraving. Light marks from handling. Good mechanics and an exceptional gun. DLM
