Very scarce 1901 vintage L.C. Smith No. 2 grade, 8 gauge. 32" Damascus barrels. Ejectors, double triggers. Select grain checkered walnut stock and forearm. CONDITION: Very good overall, well used, but clean. 70% Damascus pattern visible on barrels, only traces of original brown finish. Frame is mostly a gun metal grey patina. Wood is sound and has been refinished. Checkering shows modest wear. Buttplate has been replaced. Locking lever has drifted to the right. Bores are bright with scattered abrasion. -MKS- CORRECTION: This gun does not have ejectors and the release lever has drifted to the left.
