Manufactured 1883. Winchester 1876 rifle with 28" full octagon barrel, full length magazine, and two piece American walnut stocks with crescent buttplate. Sporting blade front sight with elevator adjustable rear sight. chambered for the .45-75 WCF cartridge. CONDITION. Good with a very even chocolate brown patina. Bore has visible rifling with darkness in grooves. Action operates smoothly and properly. Wood stocks are good with typical period bruises and impressions with an addition coat of finish applied later in life. TDW
