Manufacture 1889. Marlin model 1881 rifle with octagon barrel, full magazine and deluxe checkered pistol grip stocks with crescent buttplate. Chambered for the .40-65 cartridge. blade front sight with elevator adjustable rear sight. CONDITION: Good with most all blue finish worn to bright with balance patina. Bore is good with strong rifling. Action operates properly and locks up soundly. Stocks are very good with good checkering, no cracks, and a very slight amount of material loss at toe from wear. TDW
