Manufactured 1895. Game scene engraved with vignette of leaping whitetail deer on left side of receiver surrounded by scrolls and having a dot punch background. A chiseled rope border encompasses the outer perimeter of the receiver on both left and right sides. Right side is similarly engraved with scrolls and matching background. Finished in vivid case colors. Mounted with deluxe checkered highly figured walnut stocks with crescent butt. Round barrel with traditional two line Winchester address. Blade front sight with elevator adjustable rear sight. Work is incredibly well performed. CONDITION: Very fine with slight varnish loss on receiver over case colors. Barrel and magazine finish is very fine as restored. Wood stocks are very good with several very minor impressions and sharp checkering. Bore is good with slight shadows of darkness in grooves. This is a completely custom embellished 1886 Winchester and is very well done. TDW
