Lot consists of (A) 1959 vintage featherweight chambered in .30-06. Restocked with nicely figured walnut fashioned in the Monte Carlo style with rosewood grip cap and forearm tip. High comb with cheek rest. Pachmayr red recoil pad. Redfield rings and bases with Leupold 3-9 adjustable power Vari-X II scope. CONDITION: Excellent plus with nearly all the original blue on barrel and action. Bore is bright and clean. Action is tight and crisp. (B) 1951 vintage standard grade Model 70 chambered in .30-06. Fitted with Buehler rings and one-piece base with vintage Leupold 3-9 adjustable power scope. CONDITION: Near mint overall with nearly all the original blue on the barrel, action, bolt handle, and floorplate. Wood is outstanding, showing little to no wear. Bore is bright and shiny. Action is tight and crisp. Condition would be hard to improve on. -MKS-
