Unmarked Confederate short sword with concentric ring grip, rounded, sloping pyramid grip base, oval globular pommel with raised flat pommel cap. CONDITION: Very good. Age patina to hilt. Blade tight to hilt. Good edge and point. Blade dull silver with grey and brown striations. It is speculated by some this pattern was produced in Macon, Georgia, where E.J. Johnston made and marked similar short swords. SR
