Remington Model 1901 Rolling Block with 1874 patent date. Full military style contract rifle made in and marked "7mm" most likely made for one of the South American contracts (no markings). Blued barrel with saber style bayonet attachment. Military sights with rear adjustable roller coaster sight. Case hardened action. Full military style rifle walnut stock with steel buttplate and two barrel bands. Various initials and unknown symbols carved in stock. Comes with original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Rifle has been used hard with blue fading to a gray patina. Case colors on action are present but fading to a plum color. Wood is solid with dings and heavy usage marks. Excellent bore and mechanics. DLM
