Jarrett is a well regarded name in the hunting community due to the quality of his rifles and the Professional Hunter is no exception. This example is built on a McMillan Bros MCRT action with two lugs and fluted bolt. Fiberglass pillar bedded Jarrett stock with checkered forearm and pistol grip. Hooded bead-on-post front sight, rear sight is an V notch express sight. Sling swivels at toe of stock and on barrel band approximately half way up barrel. Jarrett muzzle brake. Right side of barrel engraved "Professional Hunter" left side engraved "Jarrett Rifles" ".450 Rigby". Decelerator recoil pad. Trigger breaks at 2#. This example is mounted with a Swarovski 1.5-6x42mm with duplex reticle in the first focal plane. Mounted in Talley QD rings and bases. Rings have been engraved with a crest. CONDITION: Very good showing some light evidence of field use with some scattered minor finish loss, still retaining the vast majority of factory finish. Somewhat more finish loss and cover up at ejection port. Action works well, bore is very good, bright and shiny, with sharp lands and grooves. Glass is clear. A big bore rifle ready for your next African safari! EW
