Raised, ventilated, machine matted rib. Red front bead. 2 - 3/4" engraved barrel panels. Right barrel with "MODEL 21 - //CSMC / TRADE MARK// - 20 GAUGE 2 3/4". Left barrel underside by barrel forend loop "NEW BRITAIN, CT. U.S.A.", right barrel with "CT. SHOTGUN MFG." Both barrels have "PROOF STEEL" with left barrel marked "IMP MOD", right barrel "MOD". Jewelled barrel flat and lump with Winchester Steel proof. Left side barrel flat with "20 GAUGE 2 3/4 IN CHAM". Right barrel flat with serial number. Beavertail forend with ebony insert, point checkering pattern, matching serial number in wood and forend iron, reinforcing brace, jewelled forend iron. J spring and knurled roll release. Action with jewelled water table, Winchester Steel logo right side near front of action, also on right side "20 GA.", left side "MADE IN U.S.A. MODEL 21" / "CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG." / "NEW BRITAIN. CONN." Blued receiver with Grade 6 engraving pattern featuring a vignette of three gold inlaid quail flying through marshland in a reserve, right side with doves flying through woodlands, bottom with portrait of two grouse; trigger guard with snipe. Auto safe, well timed ejectors. Gold washed single selective mechanical trigger with button selector with arrows and "R" and "L" on trigger plate. Tang screw has been molested. Serial number in gold on top tang with "SAFE" inlaid. Dual palm swell pistol grip. Highly figured feather crotch American walnut stock with Monte Carlo comb that measures 1 - 5/8" at peak of Monte Carlo. Kick-EEZ recoil pad measuring 3/4" to the spacer. Case is a single leather case with canvas cover with accessories comprising oil bottle, cleaning kit, and two part wooden cleaning rod. CONDITION: Very minor handling marks in the wood, most egregious at foremost right side and at comb. Metal excellent. Bores are excellent, bright and shiny. Tang screw has been molested. CP
